MURRI : YUL is the Wadawurrung meaning of merging the sky and the sea, land… the never-ending, unlimited. The team has over 30 years of experience and offers a unique approach to place and space using traditional knowledge and historical and anthropological layering to connect culture to place.

For The Canopy, MURRI : YUL was engaged to undertake cultural research and provide an Aboriginal perspective that has formed the conceptual foundation for the park and building. Their contribution of conceptual themes and indigenous knowledge systems has ensured that the cultural histories specific to this area are embedded into the design in a meaningful and respectful way.
